What Talynce credits cost
The full cost table: what uses credits, what's free, and how AI Calling billing works.
What it is
Talynce credits are a pay-per-use currency (1 credit = ₹7) that pays for a specific set of actions — separate from your subscription plan.
Who can use it
All roles can incur credit-consuming actions where permitted by their role; only admins view balance and purchase on the Credits page.

Balance shown in the header Credits chip (all roles) and in full on Administration → Credits (admin-only).

What does NOT cost credits
- Video interviews created and sent from the dashboard (job invites, resume-based interviews) — only API-created video interviews are credit-billed.
- Normal dashboard usage: creating jobs, managing pipeline, viewing reports.
Good to know
- It's easy to assume every video interview costs credits because API interviews do — but the vast majority of dashboard recruiters never touch the API, so their day-to-day screening is free. Only worry about the 10-credit charge if you or a developer is integrating via the public API.
- AI Calling has two separate charges: a one-time 50-credit number purchase, then ongoing 0.17 credits per 10 seconds of actual talk time — a campaign with many long calls can use credits faster than expected. Monitor Credits used on each campaign.
Common questions
- Does reviewing/exporting screening data cost credits? No.
- Does a candidate declining a video interview still cost credits? No — the API charge applies to interview creation, not completion; dashboard-sent interviews aren't charged at all.
- Why did my balance drop after buying a phone number? That's the one-time 50-credit purchase cost — separate from talk-time charges that follow as calls happen.
- Is 1 credit really always ₹7 regardless of the pack size? Yes — every credit pack (100 to 10,000 credits) prices at a flat ₹7 per credit; larger packs are simply a bigger one-time purchase, not a discount.
- Do credits expire? Confirm current terms with your admin/account team; don't assume an expiry unless told otherwise.
