Test calls, analysis, and call logs

Try a campaign's script before going live, review results, and audit every billed call.

What it is

Three related views for a calling campaign: test calls (try the script yourself before it goes live), analysis (aggregate results for a campaign), and logs (every individual call made across your organization, with transcripts and credit spend).

Who can use it

Admins and members.

Where to find it

Steps

  1. Before starting a campaign, place a test call to yourself or a colleague to verify the greeting and questions sound right.
  2. After the campaign has run, open Analysis for aggregate outcomes across all recipients.
  3. Use Logs to find any individual call — filter and open a call to see its transcript, duration, and credits charged.

Good to know

  • Test calls remain available at any time, even while a campaign is actively running — use them to verify script changes before they reach real candidates.
  • Test calls that aren't tied to a real recipient may appear in logs labeled as a direct test call rather than attributed to a candidate.
  • Credit cost accrues per call based on talk time (0.17 credits per 10 seconds) plus the one-time 50-credit number purchase — see What credits cost. Test calls also consume talk-time credits.

Common questions

  • Do test calls cost credits? Yes, the same talk-time rate applies.
  • Where do I find the transcript of a specific call? Open it from Logs.
  • Can I export call logs? Check the Logs page for an export option; if unavailable, use the analysis view for aggregate reporting.
  • Can I listen to the call recording, not just read the transcript? If a recording is available for the call, it's accessible from the same detail page as the transcript.
  • Do failed/unanswered calls still show up in logs? Yes, logs include unanswered and failed attempts alongside completed calls, generally without a talk-time charge for calls that never connect.
