We are looking for a Python & AWS Developer / ETL Developer with 6+ years of hands-on experience in building and managing data pipelines on the AWS platform.
The candidate should have strong experience in Python, AWS Redshift, AWS S3, Airflow and ETL development, along with prior experience working on data warehousing projects.
· Design, develop and maintain ETL workflows for extracting, transforming and loading data.
· Build and manage data pipelines on AWS.
· Develop Python scripts to ingest data from Amazon S3 and perform complex data transformations.
· Develop and optimize data transformation queries for large datasets.
· Work with AWS Redshift for data warehousing and analytics requirements.
· Ensure data is accurately extracted from source systems, transformed according to business rules and loaded into target data warehouses or data lakes.
· Optimize ETL processes for performance, scalability and reliability.
· Develop and maintain ETL workflows using appropriate ETL and orchestration tools.
· Work with Apache Airflow for ETL/data pipeline orchestration.
· Work closely with data analysts, data scientists, business stakeholders and other developers to understand data requirements.
· Document ETL processes, data mappings, workflows and technical solutions.
· Participate in code reviews and follow data engineering best practices.
· Follow Git branching and deployment practices across Feature → Dev → UAT → PRD environments.
