Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Python Lead with strong expertise in building scalable data processing applications and leading development initiatives. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Python, SQL, Apache Airflow, FastAPI, Snowflake, and modern CI/CD practices. You will be responsible for designing and developing high-performance data solutions, REST APIs, and ETL/ELT pipelines while mentoring development teams and ensuring best coding practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Python applications.

• Build and optimize large-scale data processing solutions.

• Develop and manage ETL/ELT pipelines using Apache Airflow.

• Design and develop REST APIs using FastAPI.

• Write optimized SQL queries and work extensively with Snowflake.

• Develop unit and integration test cases using Pytest.

• Implement version control and CI/CD pipelines using GitLab.

• Troubleshoot performance issues and optimize existing applications.

• Mentor team members and ensure adherence to coding standards.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Required Skills

• 9–12 years of IT experience.

• Strong expertise in Python application development.

• Experience processing large volumes of data.

• Hands-on experience with Apache Airflow.

• Experience with FastAPI or similar REST API frameworks.

• Strong SQL knowledge.

• Hands-on experience with Snowflake.

• Experience with Pytest.

• Good understanding of GitLab and CI/CD pipelines.

• Experience in ETL/ELT development and data integration.

• Strong debugging and analytical skills.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).

• Docker and Kubernetes knowledge.

• Agile/Scrum experience.
