Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Coveo Developer with 8+ years of experience in enterprise search development, Coveo platform implementation, search relevance tuning, and enterprise application integration.

The candidate will provide part-time technical job support for developing, configuring, integrating, and optimizing enterprise search solutions using the Coveo platform.

The role involves working with Coveo Headless, Coveo Atomic Components, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, search pipelines, indexing workflows, and enterprise content repositories to deliver scalable, intelligent, and user-friendly search experiences.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in Coveo development, enterprise search architecture, and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities1. Coveo Platform Development

• Design, develop, configure, and maintain enterprise search solutions using the Coveo platform.
• Configure Coveo sources, crawlers, pipelines, indexing processes, and content ingestion workflows.
• Develop and maintain Coveo Query Pipelines, ranking rules, ranking expressions, and relevance configurations.
• Implement search relevance tuning to improve search result quality.

2. Front-End Search Development

• Develop customized search interfaces using Coveo Headless and Coveo Atomic Components.
• Work with JavaScript, TypeScript, and React.
• Configure facets, filters, result templates, recommendations, and search components.
• Develop responsive and user-friendly enterprise search experiences.

3. Enterprise Application Integration

• Integrate Coveo with enterprise platforms and business applications.
• Work with Salesforce, ServiceNow, SharePoint, Microsoft 365, Sitecore, Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), and custom applications.
• Develop and integrate REST APIs and custom data connectors.
• Support content indexing, synchronization, and ingestion processes.

4. Search Relevance & Optimization

• Configure and optimize search relevance, ranking, and Query Pipelines.
• Analyze search behavior and continuously improve search performance.
• Leverage Coveo Machine Learning and AI capabilities for search and recommendation improvements.
• Monitor search analytics and recommend enhancements.

5. Security & Content Management

• Implement security trimming and content access controls.
• Ensure users can access only authorized content.
• Troubleshoot indexing, synchronization, and content visibility issues.
• Maintain enterprise search architecture and content repository integrations.

6. Analytics & Troubleshooting

• Use Coveo Analytics to evaluate search behavior, user engagement, and search performance.
• Prepare dashboards, reports, and recommendations for technical and business stakeholders.
• Perform root-cause analysis and resolve search-related issues.
• Support testing, deployment, and production optimization.

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of overall IT experience with strong hands-on Coveo development experience.
• Proven experience implementing enterprise search solutions using Coveo.
• Strong knowledge of Coveo Headless, Atomic Components, and search relevance configuration.
• Experience in enterprise content ingestion, indexing, and application integration.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to independently provide technical support and resolve project issues.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Job Support Expectations

• Provide technical job support for 2–3 hours per day, Monday to Friday.
• Assist with Coveo development, configuration, and implementation activities.
• Support debugging, troubleshooting, and search optimization.
• Provide technical guidance on Coveo architecture and integration.
• Review technical implementations and suggest best practices.
• Maintain regular communication and provide timely project updates.
