Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced Salesforce Education Cloud Solution Architect to lead the architecture, design, and implementation of enterprise-scale K-12 digital education platforms using Salesforce Education Cloud.
The ideal candidate must have strong hands-on experience in Salesforce architecture, particularly Education Cloud, with a proven track record of designing solutions covering the complete student lifecycle, from admissions and enrollment to academic progress, graduation, and alumni management.
Candidates must have strong experience in K-12 education implementations and the ability to design scalable, secure, and integrated Salesforce solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end solution architecture for enterprise K-12 Education Cloud implementations.
- Design scalable Salesforce Education Cloud solutions supporting Kindergarten through Grade 12.
- Architect complete student lifecycle management, including admissions, enrollment, registration, attendance, academic progress, and graduation.
- Design Student 360 architecture for unified student information and engagement.
- Build role-based experiences for students, parents, teachers, school administrators, and district administrators.
- Design and implement Experience Cloud portals for parents, students, and faculty.
- Define security architecture, role hierarchy, sharing models, and data privacy controls.
- Architect integrations with Student Information Systems (SIS), Learning Management Systems (LMS), ERP, identity providers, and payment gateways.
- Design automation using Salesforce Flow, Apex, OmniStudio, and Platform Events.
- Lead Data Cloud adoption for unified student insights and analytics.
- Conduct discovery workshops, solution blueprinting, architecture reviews, and governance.
- Mentor technical teams and establish Salesforce development best practices.
- Support presales activities, estimations, RFPs, and customer presentations.
Mandatory Technical Skills
- 12+ years of Salesforce experience.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on Salesforce Education Cloud architecture experience.
- 8+ years of experience in Salesforce Solution/Technical Architecture.
- Proven experience in K-12 education domain implementations.
- Strong expertise in Salesforce Education Cloud, Experience Cloud, Service Cloud, and Sales Cloud.
- Strong knowledge of Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Salesforce Flow, and Platform Events.
- Experience designing Student 360 solutions.
- Experience with SIS and LMS integrations.
- Strong understanding of enterprise integration architecture, APIs, data migration, and security models.
- Experience with multi-school/multi-campus architecture.
- Knowledge of FERPA, GDPR, and education data privacy requirements.

Important Note
Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of hands-on Salesforce Education Cloud architecture experience and proven K-12 implementation experience. General Salesforce Architects without Education Cloud experience will not be considered.
