Key Responsibilities
- Develop sophisticated algorithms for improved search and ranking in contact management.
- Design and build highly scalable distributed backend systems.
- Leverage the latest in LLM technology to enhance Alexa's voice interactions.
- Collaborate across teams to solve complex technical challenges within the Alexa ecosystem.
- Define product features, refine system architecture, and implement best practices for quality products.
- Set up the architectural foundation for future product phases.
- Write code, run tests, and iterate on designs; engage in code reviews and deployment monitoring.
- Work closely with product partners to translate requirements into technical plans.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- 2+ years of experience in design or architecture of new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Proficiency in at least one software programming language.
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
