Senior Full-Stack Mobile & Backend Developer

We are looking for a highly skilled and independent Senior Full-Stack Mobile & Backend Developer who can take complete ownership of mobile application and website development, from initial planning and architecture to deployment, maintenance, and scaling.

The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience developing and managing Android and iOS applications, backend systems, APIs, databases, cloud infrastructure, and web applications. The candidate must be capable of handling end-to-end technical responsibilities independently, without relying on a separate development or support team.

Key Responsibilities1. Mobile Application Development

• Develop, maintain, and optimize Android and iOS applications using Flutter or other suitable cross-platform technologies.
• Build responsive, user-friendly, high-performance mobile applications.
• Manage app architecture, authentication, notifications, location services, and third-party integrations.
• Handle app testing, debugging, performance optimization, and Play Store/App Store deployment.

2. Backend Development & API Management

• Design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable backend systems.
• Build and manage REST APIs and, where required, real-time communication services.
• Develop business logic, user management, role-based access, and authentication systems.
• Design, optimize, and maintain databases.
• Implement API security, data validation, logging, error handling, and performance monitoring.

3. Website Development

• Develop and maintain websites, web applications, and administrative dashboards.
• Integrate mobile applications with websites through secure backend APIs.
• Build admin panels, reporting dashboards, user management modules, and operational tools.
• Ensure responsive design, browser compatibility, security, and performance.

4. Payment Gateway Integration

• Integrate payment gateways such as Razorpay, Cashfree, PayU, or other suitable providers.
• Implement online payments, payment status verification, refunds, transaction histories, and digital receipts.
• Handle payment webhooks, failed transactions, duplicate requests, and reconciliation.
• Implement secure payment workflows without storing sensitive card information unnecessarily.

5. GPS Tracking & Location-Based Features

• Implement real-time GPS tracking and location-based services.
• Develop live tracking maps, route management, distance calculations, and ETA features.
• Integrate mapping services such as Google Maps or other suitable providers.
• Implement background location updates, location permissions, and tracking notifications.
• Optimize tracking accuracy, battery consumption, and data usage.

6. Cloud Infrastructure & Deployment

• Set up, configure, and maintain cloud servers and hosting infrastructure.
• Work with platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, or equivalent services.
• Manage cloud storage, file uploads, database backups, server security, and monitoring.
• Configure production environments, domains, SSL certificates, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment workflows.
• Troubleshoot production issues and ensure application availability and reliability.

7. Third-Party Integrations & Advanced Features

• Integrate SMS, email, OTP, push notifications, analytics, and other external services.
• Implement file, image, and video uploads with suitable cloud storage solutions.
• Integrate AI APIs or other external services when required.
• Design and implement new features based on business requirements.

8. End-to-End Technical Ownership

• Independently manage the complete development lifecycle, from requirement analysis to production release.
• Select appropriate technologies, frameworks, databases, and infrastructure.
• Estimate timelines, plan development tasks, and deliver features on schedule.
• Identify and resolve technical issues without continuous supervision.
• Maintain clean, documented, secure, and reusable code.
• Take responsibility for application maintenance, upgrades, backups, security patches, and production support.

Required Technical Skills

• Mobile: Flutter, Dart, Android/iOS development.
• Backend: Node.js, NestJS, Laravel, Django, or an equivalent backend framework.
• Databases: PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or equivalent.
• APIs: REST API development, API integration, authentication, and authorization.
• Web: React, Next.js, Vue.js, or equivalent web technologies.
• Payments: Payment gateway integration, webhooks, refunds, and transaction handling.
• Maps: GPS, Google Maps APIs, geolocation, live tracking, and routing.
• Cloud: AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, Firebase, or equivalent infrastructure.
• DevOps: Git, CI/CD, server deployment, monitoring, backups, and troubleshooting.
• Security: Secure authentication, access control, data protection, and API security.

Mandatory Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of relevant hands-on development experience.
• Proven experience delivering mobile applications and backend systems to production.
• Ability to independently manage end-to-end development without day-to-day technical supervision.
• Practical experience with payment integration, GPS/location services, databases, cloud deployment, and API development.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex issues across mobile, web, backend, and infrastructure layers.
• Strong problem-solving, ownership, communication, and time-management skills.
• Must be able to demonstrate previous projects and explain their architecture and technical decisions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building applications from scratch.
• Experience managing live applications with real users and production transactions.
• Experience with delivery, logistics, school management, e-commerce, or other location-based platforms.
• Experience with real-time tracking, background services, maps, and push notifications.
• Knowledge of automated testing, application security, scalability, and performance optimization.

What We Expect

We are looking for a developer who can take a business idea and turn it into a complete, working product. You should be capable of independently managing the mobile applications, backend, website, APIs, database, payment integrations, GPS tracking, cloud deployment, and ongoing technical maintenance.

This is an ownership-driven role, not a position limited to writing backend APIs or completing assigned coding tasks.

Pay: ₹180,000.00 - ₹300,000.00 per year
