Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Telecom Billing Project Manager to lead and deliver large-scale telecom billing transformation and modernization programs. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in Telecom BSS Billing Systems, project delivery management, stakeholder engagement, and Agile methodologies. Experience with Amdocs Billing solutions is highly preferred.
The role requires managing end-to-end project execution, driving cross-functional collaboration, ensuring delivery excellence, and maintaining governance across scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk.
Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end delivery of telecom billing transformation and migration projects.
Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, resources, and delivery milestones.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, product teams, and vendors to define project objectives and implementation strategies.
Drive execution of billing system enhancements, upgrades, and transformation initiatives.
Coordinate cross-functional teams across Business, IT, Operations, Testing, and Release Management.
Establish project governance, risk management, issue resolution, and escalation mechanisms.
Ensure compliance with quality standards, operational processes, and organizational policies.
Monitor project progress and provide regular status updates to leadership and stakeholders.
Facilitate Agile ceremonies and promote best practices in project delivery.
Manage dependencies, change requests, and project documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
Required Skills & Experience
Telecom Domain Expertise
Strong understanding of Telecom OSS/BSS ecosystems.
Extensive experience working with Telecom Billing Systems.
Knowledge of customer lifecycle management, charging, rating, invoicing, collections, and revenue assurance processes.
Experience in telecom transformation or digital modernization programs.
Project Management
10–12 years of overall project management experience.
Proven track record of delivering complex enterprise projects.
Strong expertise in project planning, budgeting, forecasting, risk management, and governance.
Experience managing distributed and cross-functional teams.
Agile Delivery
Hands-on experience with Agile, Scrum, and hybrid delivery models.
Ability to manage multiple workstreams and release cycles effectively.
Stakeholder Management
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Experience engaging with senior leadership, business teams, vendors, and technology partners.
Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.
PMP, Agile/Scrum, Telecom Domain Certifications, or TOGAF certifications are advantageous.
