About the Opportunity
We are seeking a motivated and technically capable Electrical, Electronics & Automation Engineer to join a confidential research, invention and manufacturing initiative being developed under Glamaxia.
The initiative involves developing a novel technology-driven physical product that will require the integration of electrical systems, electronic components, motion control, sensors, automation and intelligent data acquisition.
As part of the founding engineering team, you will participate in developing the electronic and control architecture of the product, integrating hardware components, building functional systems and testing their performance.
This is a rare opportunity for an aspiring engineer to participate in an invention and product-development process from its early stages, rather than joining an established manufacturing setup where the core engineering architecture has already been defined.
You will collaborate directly with the Founder and mechanical engineering team to bring the proposed system from concept to functional prototype.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in electrical and electronic research, system design and product development.
- Develop electrical architecture, wiring diagrams, circuit layouts and hardware integration plans.
- Assist in selecting suitable motors, motor drivers, controllers, sensors, encoders and electronic components.
- Work on motion control, automation, speed regulation, positioning and feedback systems.
- Develop and integrate embedded systems, microcontrollers and hardware communication interfaces.
- Work with sensor systems, data acquisition, signal processing and real-time monitoring.
- Contribute to the development of control panels, power distribution and electrical protection systems.
- Explore hardware-to-software communication and IoT-based monitoring capabilities.
- Collaborate with mechanical engineers to integrate electrical and electronic components into physical assemblies.
- Assist in developing hardware prototypes, testing circuits, troubleshooting and performance validation.
- Maintain technical documentation, circuit diagrams, firmware records, test results and system configurations.
- Ensure appropriate attention to electrical protection, emergency controls, interlocks and operational safety.
Technical Skills & Qualifications
Educational Background
- B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering or Mechatronics.
- Diploma holders with relevant technical knowledge and hands-on experience may also apply.
Fresh graduates with strong fundamentals, practical projects or embedded-systems experience are encouraged to apply.
Preferred Technical Skills
- Understanding of electrical circuits, AC/DC systems, power distribution and electrical protection.
- Familiarity with motors, motor drivers, servo systems, stepper motors, encoders and variable-frequency drives.
- Knowledge of PLCs, industrial automation, motion control and feedback systems.
- Familiarity with sensors, signal conditioning, data acquisition and measurement systems.
- Hands-on experience with Arduino, ESP32, STM32, Raspberry Pi or similar embedded platforms.
- Programming knowledge in Embedded C, C++ or Python will be an advantage.
- Understanding of communication protocols such as UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, Modbus or MQTT.
- Exposure to PCB design, circuit simulation, MATLAB/Simulink or LabVIEW is desirable.
- Knowledge of IoT, hardware-software integration and real-time monitoring systems will be an advantage.
- Familiarity with hardware synchronisation, timing systems and electronic safety mechanisms is desirable.
