IT Infrastructure & Cloud Systems Administrator (Managed Services)
About the Role
Swift is seeking an experienced and proactive IT Infrastructure & Cloud Systems Administrator to manage and maintain our clients' IT environments. This is a hands-on technical role focused on infrastructure operations, cloud administration, monitoring, maintenance, and continuous improvement.
You will be responsible for ensuring customer systems remain secure, available, and performing optimally while providing Level 2/3 technical support where required.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working across a broad range of technologies rather than specialising in just one area.
Key Responsibilities
Infrastructure Administration
Administer Microsoft Windows Server environments
Manage Hyper-V virtualisation platforms
Perform server health checks and maintenance
Configure and maintain Active Directory
Manage DNS, DHCP and Group Policy
Perform storage management and capacity planning
Monitor system performance and resolve infrastructure issues
Maintain high availability where applicable
Cloud Administration
Administer Microsoft 365 environments
Manage Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD)
Manage Exchange Online
Configure Microsoft Defender
Administer SharePoint Online
Manage OneDrive
User onboarding/offboarding
License management
Conditional Access
MFA administration
Preferred experience with:

Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is an experienced infrastructure engineer who is comfortable managing both on-premises and cloud environments. They enjoy variety, take ownership of technical issues, and can confidently support clients across Microsoft 365, Windows Server, Hyper-V, networking, and Azure. Experience in a managed services (MSP) environment will be highly regarded, as the role requires balancing proactive maintenance with responsive client support while maintaining excellent customer service.
