Role: Cloud Database Engineer
Experience: 6+
Location: Trivandrum (Hybrid)
Cloud Database Engineer:
AWS Cloud + RDS +Aurora +elasticache +Terraform+ Postgresql+MySQL.
Must Have:
● Experience with AWS cloud services, particularly managed database offerings (RDS/Aurora, ElastiCache)
● Working knowledge of Terraform (or similar IaC tools) for infrastructure provisioning
● Solid understanding of relational databases (PostgreSQL and/or MySQL)
● Basic understanding of networking, security groups, and IAM in AWS
● Analytical mindset and structured approach to troubleshooting
Good to Have:
● Experience with Redis or other in-memory data stores
● Familiarity with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases
● Experience with database monitoring tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Performance Insights, Dynatrace)
● Knowledge of backup/recovery strategies and disaster recovery concepts
● Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins)
