Key Responsibilities

Participate in SAP Event Management implementation, enhancement, rollout, and support projects.

Configure and maintain SAP Event Handlers, Event Messages, Tracking IDs, and Event Profiles.

Design and configure Expected Events and Milestone Monitoring processes.

Define and maintain Event Handler Types and Event Message Types.

Configure Rule Sets and Event Management parameters to support business requirements.

Design and support Event Monitoring and Alerting capabilities.

Configure Event Management scenarios for inbound and outbound logistics visibility.

Work with customers to define event tracking requirements and exception management processes.

Analyze and resolve production issues related to event processing and event visibility.

Support integration between SAP Event Management and:

SAP ECC

SAP S/4HANA

SAP Transportation Management (SAP TM)

SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM)

SAP Business Network

External systems and partner interfaces

Perform root cause analysis of event processing failures and recommend corrective actions.

Prepare functional specifications and support development activities.

Support testing activities including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing.

Participate in cutover and hypercare support activities.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams and customer stakeholders.

Provide end-user training and knowledge transfer when required.

Required Technical Skills

Minimum 3 years of hands-on SAP Event Management experience.

Strong understanding of SAP Event Management architecture and configuration.

Ability to analyze and troubleshoot failed event messages and event processing issues.

Experience supporting production environments and incident resolution.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Experience integrating SAP Event Management with SAP TM.

Experience with SAP S/4HANA Supply Chain solutions.

Experience with SAP EWM.

Basic understanding of ABAP debugging and technical objects.

Exposure to SAP Business Network and logistics visibility solutions.
