Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced ETL Tester with strong expertise in validating large-scale data transformation processes and ensuring data quality across enterprise data platforms. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Databricks, PySpark, SQL, automation scripting, and performance testing.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute ETL test strategies, test plans, and test cases for data integration projects.

• Validate data extraction, transformation, and loading processes to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency.

• Perform data validation using advanced SQL queries and compare source-to-target data.

• Test ETL workflows developed in Databricks and PySpark environments.

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts to improve testing efficiency and coverage.

• Conduct performance, scalability, and load testing of ETL pipelines.

• Identify, document, and track defects through resolution while collaborating with development and business teams.

• Ensure adherence to data quality, governance, and testing best practices.

• Support regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT) activities.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in ETL/Data Warehouse Testing.

• Strong hands-on experience with Databricks and PySpark.

• Advanced proficiency in SQL for data validation and analysis.

• Experience in automation scripting for ETL testing.

• Hands-on experience with performance and load testing of data pipelines.

• Strong understanding of ETL processes, data warehousing concepts, and data validation techniques.

• Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
