Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced AWS Data Engineer with strong expertise in AWS cloud services, Python, SQL, Snowflake, and Jenkins. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes while ensuring data quality, reliability, and performance.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using AWS services.
Build and optimize ETL/ELT workflows for processing large volumes of structured and unstructured data.
Develop efficient SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and performance optimization.
Work with Snowflake for data warehousing, data modeling, and query optimization.
Develop data processing and automation scripts using Python.
Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
Integrate data from multiple sources into centralized data platforms.
Monitor data pipelines, troubleshoot issues, and ensure data accuracy and consistency.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver effective data solutions.
Follow best practices for data security, governance, and cloud resource optimization.
Required Skills
Strong experience in AWS cloud services and data engineering.
Hands-on experience with Python programming and scripting.
Strong proficiency in SQL, including complex queries and query optimization.
Experience with Snowflake data warehousing.
Hands-on experience with Jenkins and CI/CD pipeline implementation.
Good understanding of ETL/ELT processes and data pipeline development.
Experience in data modeling, data integration, and performance tuning.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with AWS services such as S3, Glue, Lambda, Redshift, and IAM.
Familiarity with automated deployment and version control tools such as Git.
Understanding of cloud-based data architecture and data warehouse concepts.
Experience working in Agile development environments.
