Job Description
Addonez is looking for a Server Administrator with at least 1 year of hands-on experience in managing cloud servers, hosting environments, and web applications using Hostinger VPS or Amazon Web Services (AWS).
The candidate will be responsible for server setup, deployment, monitoring, security, troubleshooting, and maintaining reliable hosting infrastructure for our SaaS platforms and customer applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up, configure, and manage Hostinger VPS and/or AWS cloud servers.
- Manage Linux servers (Ubuntu/Debian).
- Deploy and maintain websites, SaaS applications, and ERP systems.
- Configure domains, DNS, SSL certificates, and web servers (Nginx/Apache).
- Manage server backups, restoration, and disaster recovery.
- Monitor server performance, uptime, storage, and resource usage.
- Troubleshoot server downtime, hosting issues, and application errors.
- Implement server security, firewalls, and access controls.
- Manage staging and production environments.
- Support developers with application deployment and server configuration.
- Maintain hosting infrastructure for Odoo ERP, eCommerce, booking, and other SaaS applications.
- Optimize server performance and hosting costs.
Required Skills
- Minimum 1 year of practical server management experience.
- Hands-on experience with Hostinger VPS or AWS (either platform is acceptable).
- Good knowledge of Linux server administration.
- Experience with Nginx or Apache.
- Knowledge of DNS, SSL, SSH, and server security.
- Experience with MySQL or PostgreSQL or MongoDB, databases.
- Understanding of backups, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
- Basic knowledge of Git and application deployment.
Additional Skills (Preferred)
- Odoo ERP hosting and server management.
- Docker and container deployment.
- AWS EC2, S3, RDS, and Route 53.
- CI/CD deployment processes.
- Python-based application hosting.
- SaaS infrastructure and multi-tenant environments.
- Server migration and performance optimization.
Qualifications
- B.Tech, BCA, B.Sc Computer Science, Diploma in IT, or equivalent practical experience.
- Candidates with strong hands-on experience are welcome regardless of formal qualifications.
What We Expect
We are looking for a practical, responsible, and solution-oriented person who can independently handle day-to-day server operations, quickly resolve hosting issues, and work closely with our development team.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
