Job description
Sigma Solve is seeking a talented Cloud Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, deploying, and managing secure and scalable cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure solutions meet business requirements.
Essential Functions
- Design, deploy, and manage Microsoft Azure infrastructure and services to ensure high availability, scalability, and security.
- Ability to automate cloud services using PowerShell, Azure CLI, or other automation tools to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
- Implement and manage Azure networking and security, including virtual networks, network security groups, and load balancers.
- Monitor and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure and services to ensure 24/7 availability and performance.
- Compose, maintain and update standard operating procedures and training documentation.
- Participate in on-call rotations to ensure the availability of critical systems outside of business hours.
- Solid understanding of networking protocols and technologies, including virtual networks, network security groups, and load balancers
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Additional Functions:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain cloud solutions that meet business requirements.
- Microsoft Azure Disaster Recovery planning and testing.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities and multiple projects.
- Research and propose recommendations for enhancing approaches for support services.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Plays a lead role in the maintenance of knowledge within the IT department, coordinating the implementation of best practices and the adoption of suitable trends while also keeping track of licensing on all IT related items.
- 3+ years of experience designing, deploying, and managing cloud infrastructure and services on Microsoft Azure
- 3 years experience with infrastructure such as code (IaC) tools like ARM templates or terraform.
Minimum Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree in computer science or information Systems or associate degree and 4 years of work experience.
- 3 years' experience with cloud technologies. Microsoft Azure certifications preferred (e.g., AZ-104, AZ-303, AZ-304, etc.)
- Familiarity with containerization and container orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
- 3 years experience with DevOps methodologies and tools (e.g., Git, CI/CD pipelines)
- Knowledge of other cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud Platform)
Pay: ₹450,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
