Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced React Native Developer with strong Native Android Development expertise to work on advanced Android framework integration, native build systems, and React Native runtime components.
The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in React Native, JavaScript, Kotlin/Java, C++, Android NDK, CMake, and Gradle.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and maintain Android development environments, including JDK, Gradle, Kotlin, NDK and Android SDK.
- Develop and maintain CMake, Ninja, and Gradle build configurations for Android.
- Integrate React Native framework components such as ReactCommon, Hermes, JSI, Fabric and TurboModules.
- Manage Android development launcher, runtime AAR packaging and native library deployment.
- Work on Android native modules and framework integration.
- Develop and maintain build, validation, and deployment workflows for Android applications.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to improve rendering, performance, lifecycle management and debugging.
- Maintain technical documentation, automated testing and CI/CD workflows.
Required Technical Skills
- Strong experience in React Native Development and JavaScript.
- Hands-on experience with Native Android Development.
- Strong knowledge of Kotlin and/or Java.
- Good experience with C++17/20.
- Hands-on experience with Android NDK, JNI and CMake.
- Experience with Gradle, Android Studio and Android SDK.
- Knowledge of AAR packaging, jniLibs, ABI management and native libraries.
- Experience with native debugging using LLDB/GDB.
Good to Have Skills
- React Native internals: JSI, Hermes, Fabric and TurboModules.
- Experience with Conan 2, Ninja and Prefab.
- Maven/Artifactory dependency management.
- Experience with Android native framework integration.
- Knowledge of Vulkan/OpenGL ES or graphics rendering.
Candidate Profile
- 4–10 years of relevant software development experience.
- Strong hands-on technical and debugging capabilities.
- Experience working on complex Android and React Native applications.
- B.Tech or equivalent qualification.
