Job Role & Responsibility

CI/CD & Release Engineering:

·         Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, building, and deployment.

·         Ensure reliable, repeatable release processes across development, staging, and production.

·         Reduce release cycle time and improve deployment success rates.

Cloud Infrastructure:

·         Provision, manage, and optimize cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or GCP.

·         Implement infrastructure as code using Terraform or equivalent tooling.

·         Own cost optimization, security posture, and availability SLAs.

Container Orchestration:

·         Manage containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes.

·         Maintain cluster health, configure autoscaling, and enforce resource and security best practices.

·         Support deployments across microservices and distributed architectures.

Monitoring &Observability:

·         Implement and maintain monitoring, alerting, and logging infrastructure.

·         Build dashboards to track system health, performance, and SLOs.

·         Reduce MTTD and MTTR through structured observability practices.

Security & Compliance:

·         Embed security into the delivery pipeline (DevSecOps practices).

·         Manage secrets, IAM policies, and network access controls.

·         Support compliance requirements through audit logging and infrastructure hardening.

Collaboration & On-call:

·         Partner with development teams to improve developer experience and deployment workflows.

·         Participate in on-call rotations and lead incident response.

·         Drive post-mortem action items to resolution.

Skills
