About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled QA Automation Engineer with strong expertise in Java, Selenium WebDriver, and test automation frameworks, along with experience in manual testing and exposure to AI-powered testing tools. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable automation solutions while leveraging AI technologies to improve test coverage, efficiency, and quality.

Key Responsibilities

● Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Java and Selenium WebDriver.

● Design, enhance, and maintain automation frameworks using TestNG/JUnit, Page Object Model (POM), Data-Driven, and Hybrid frameworks.

● Execute automated and manual test cases for functional, regression, integration, and system testing.

● Collaborate with product managers, developers, business analysts, and QA teams to understand business requirements and translate them into comprehensive test scenarios.

● Identify, document, track, and validate defects using defect management tools.

● Improve test coverage and optimize automation execution to enhance software quality.

● Integrate automated test suites with CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins.

● Perform API testing using Rest Assured and Postman.

● Utilize AI-powered testing tools to improve test case generation, defect prediction, test optimization, and overall testing productivity.

● Integrate new software solutions with existing systems while ensuring compatibility and interoperability.

● Perform root cause analysis of production and testing issues and implement preventive solutions.

● Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality and testing standards.

● Mentor junior QA engineers and provide technical guidance on automation best practices.

● Work effectively within Agile/Scrum teams and contribute to sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.

Required Skills

● Strong hands-on experience in Java programming.

● Expertise in Selenium WebDriver.

● Experience with TestNG and/or Junit.

● Strong understanding of automation framework design, including Page Object Model (POM), Data-Driven, and Hybrid frameworks. ● Experience in manual testing, including functional, regression, integration, and system testing.

● Knowledge of AI tools and technologies used in software testing and automation.

● Experience with API testing using Rest Assured and/or Postman.

● Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.

● Experience with Git or other version control systems.

● Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

● Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Good to Have

● Experience with AI-based testing platforms and intelligent automation tools.

● Exposure to BDD frameworks such as Cucumber.

● Knowledge of performance testing using Jmeter.

● Experience with cloud-based testing environments.

● Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

● Knowledge of Docker or containerized testing environments. Qualifications

● Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

● 4–7 years of experience in QA Automation using Java and Selenium.
