Role Overview

We are seeking a Data Analyst with 2–4 years of experience to support data-driven decision-making through analytics, reporting, and insights generation. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, hands-on experience in data analysis, and the ability to work closely with business stakeholders to identify trends, opportunities, and business solutions.

Candidates with exposure to the Banking, Financial Services, or Credit Risk domain will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

· Analyze large datasets to identify business trends, patterns, and actionable insights.

· Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and MIS for business stakeholders.

· Perform data extraction, cleansing, validation, and transformation activities.

· Support business teams with data-driven recommendations and decision-making.

· Conduct exploratory data analysis and statistical analysis to solve business problems.

· Collaborate with business, product, technology, and operations teams to understand analytical requirements.

· Prepare presentations and analytical reports for management review.

· Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across various reporting systems.

· Automate recurring reports and analytical processes wherever feasible.

Required Experience

· Experience working with large datasets and generating business insights.

· Exposure to Banking, Financial Services, FinTech, or other data-intensive industries is preferred.

· Understanding of credit risk, lending, portfolio analytics, or financial analytics will be an added advantage.

Technical Skills

· Strong working knowledge of Python or SAS (Mandatory).

· Hands-on experience with SQL for data extraction and analysis.

· Advanced proficiency in MS Excel.

· Experience in data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.

· Good understanding of statistical and analytical concepts.

· Ability to work with structured and unstructured datasets.

Educational Qualification

· Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related discipline.

· Candidates from Tier 1 / Tier 2 institutes will be preferred.
