About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Quality Analyst (QA) with 5+ years of experience in Manual and Automation Testing to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in test planning, defect management, automation frameworks, Agile methodologies, and AI-powered testing tools. You will work closely with developers, business analysts, and product teams to deliver robust, scalable, and reliable software solutions.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, test scripts, and test scenarios based on business and technical requirements.

• Perform Manual and Automation Testing, including Functional, Regression, Integration, System, Smoke, Sanity, Performance, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

• Identify, document, prioritize, and track software defects using tools such as JIRA, Bugzilla, or TestRail, ensuring timely resolution.

• Conduct root cause analysis of defects and collaborate with developers to resolve issues efficiently.

• Validate APIs, databases, UI, and end-to-end application workflows to ensure complete system functionality.

• Develop, maintain, and execute automation test scripts using Playwright (Preferred), Selenium, or Cypress.

• Execute regression test suites before each release to ensure application stability and quality.

• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, Product Owners, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and define effective testing strategies.

• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.

• Mentor junior QA engineers by reviewing test artifacts, sharing best practices, and promoting quality standards.

• Continuously improve QA processes, automation coverage, testing efficiency, and release quality.

• Support Continuous Integration and Continuous Testing practices within the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

• Prepare test execution reports, quality metrics, and release readiness reports for stakeholders.

Technical Skills

• Strong experience in Manual and Automation Testing.

• Hands-on experience with Playwright (Preferred), Selenium, or Cypress.

• Experience with API Testing using Postman, Swagger, or REST APIs.

• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile, and Scrum methodologies.

• Experience with defect management tools such as JIRA, Bugzilla, and TestRail.

• Familiarity with performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.

• Basic SQL knowledge for database validation.

• Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines is an advantage.

• ISTQB Certification is a plus.

AI Expectations

• Use GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude, ChatGPT, and AI-powered test generation tools in day-to-day QA activities.

• Leverage AI to generate and optimize automated test scripts and test cases.

• Utilize AI for defect analysis, regression testing, and root cause investigation.

• Validate AI-generated outputs to ensure accuracy, reliability, and compliance with quality standards.

• Promote responsible adoption of AI tools to improve testing efficiency and software quality.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

• 5+ years of experience in Software Testing and Quality Assurance.

• Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.

• Leadership and mentoring skills with the ability to guide junior QA engineers.
