Job Summary
Brick Billion Technologies is looking for a Java Developer to contribute to the development, testing, and maintenance of software applications. The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of Java programming, object-oriented programming concepts, and problem-solving techniques.
The selected candidate will work with the development team to build reliable applications, troubleshoot technical issues, and improve existing software.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain applications using Java.
- Write clean, readable, and maintainable code.
- Apply object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts in software development.
- Work with SQL databases to store, retrieve, and manage data.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects.
- Participate in code reviews and follow established coding standards.
- Collaborate with team members to understand project requirements.
- Assist in debugging, application testing, and performance improvements.
- Maintain technical documentation as required.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of Java programming.
- Understanding of object-oriented programming concepts.
- Familiarity with Core Java, including classes, objects, inheritance, polymorphism, and exception handling.
- Basic knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
- Understanding of data structures and algorithms.
- Familiarity with Git or other version control tools is an advantage.
- Knowledge of Spring or Spring Boot is an advantage.
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Candidates with a degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field are preferred.
- Candidates should have a genuine interest in software development.
- Academic projects, personal projects, or relevant practical experience are beneficial.
- Freshers with relevant programming knowledge may apply if the employer accepts entry-level candidates.
