Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain advanced knowledge of Pega architecture, design principles, and implementation best practices.

  • Stay up to date with the latest Pega platform features, tools, and capabilities.

  • Continuously enhance technical expertise and drive adoption of new technologies and best practices.

  • Provide technical leadership and guidance while collaborating with senior stakeholders to solve complex business challenges.

  • Promote reusable components and enterprise-wide Pega implementation standards.

  • Mentor and coach Pega Certified System Architects and Senior System Architects, ensuring high-quality design and development practices.

  • Review team deliverables and ensure adherence to Pega best practices and quality standards.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues and critical production incidents.

  • Deliver constructive feedback and technical coaching to team members.

  • Support Pega Citizen Development through training, guidance, and knowledge sharing.

  • Design scalable, low-code solutions leveraging Out-of-the-Box (OOTB) Pega capabilities.

  • Collaborate with Pega COE, Architecture, Product, Engineering, and IT teams to define and implement enterprise architecture standards.

  • Design simple, scalable, service-oriented solutions while minimizing unnecessary complexity.

  • Provide recommendations for product enhancements based on business requirements.

  • Work with infrastructure teams to understand hardware, networking, server topology, and integration requirements.

  • Lead architectural decisions with strong technical justification and stakeholder influence.

  • Evaluate when to integrate with external systems versus using end-to-end Pega capabilities.

Required Skills

  • 8+ years of hands-on experience with Pegasystems.

  • Expert knowledge of Pega Customer Service applications.

  • Experience with Pega Constellation and/or DX API.

  • Valid Pega Lead System Architect (LSA) certification.

  • Strong expertise across the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

  • Experience with application servers, programming languages, relational and non-relational databases, and integration technologies.

  • Strong experience working in Agile and Scrum environments.

  • Proven leadership, mentoring, and coaching experience.

  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Ability to simplify complex technical problems into scalable solutions.

  • Ability to work independently and perform effectively in fast-paced environments.
