Job Summary
Wits Innovation Lab is looking for an experienced QA Automation Engineer with strong expertise in Java and Selenium. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in automation testing, API testing, database testing, and Playwright, along with a strong understanding of software testing methodologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium and Java.
- Perform functional, regression, and automation testing.
- Conduct API testing to validate application functionality and performance.
- Perform database testing and validate data using SQL queries.
- Work with Playwright for test automation.
- Identify, report, track, and verify software defects.
- Develop and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test plans.
- Collaborate with developers and other team members to ensure product quality.
- Participate in debugging, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of testing processes.
Required Skills
- 3+ years of experience in QA Automation / Software Testing.
- Strong hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver.
- Good programming knowledge of Java.
- Practical experience in API Testing.
- Strong understanding of SQL and Database Testing.
- Familiarity with Playwright.
- Knowledge of automation frameworks and testing methodologies.
- Experience with bug tracking and defect management tools.
