SAP Fiori Analytics & CDS View Architect

Role Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced SAP Fiori Analytics Architect to support an SAP S/4HANA transformation program. The consultant will act as a subject matter expert for SAP Fiori Analytics, CDS Views, embedded analytics, and SAP to Power BI integration.

The role requires hands-on architecture and development expertise combined with consulting and advisory capabilities. The consultant will validate the current solution approach, recommend improvements where necessary, mentor existing developers, and lead the design and implementation of scalable analytics solutions based on SAP S/4HANA.

Key Responsibilities

SAP Fiori Analytics Architecture

       •   Lead the design and implementation of SAP Fiori analytical applications.

       •   Define analytics architecture and best practices for SAP S/4HANA.

       •   Assess existing Fiori applications and recommend optimization opportunities.

       •   Establish standards for Fiori analytics development.

CDS View Design & Development

       •   Design advanced ABAP CDS Views for reporting and analytics.

       •   Build reusable virtual data models and analytical layers.

       •   Optimize CDS Views for performance, scalability, and maintainability.

       •   Guide teams on migration from legacy reporting structures to S/4HANA analytical models.

Power BI Integration

       •   Design and implement SAP S/4HANA integration with Microsoft Power BI.

       •   Expose CDS Views through OData services for analytics consumption.

       •   Define data extraction and reporting architecture.

       •   Support development of executive dashboards and operational reporting solutions.

Technical Advisory & Mentoring

       •   Validate current design decisions and provide architectural guidance.

       •   Identify risks and improvement opportunities in the existing solution.

       •   Mentor SAP developers on:

       ◦         CDS View development

       ◦         Analytical Query Design

       ◦         Fiori Elements

       ◦         Embedded Analytics

       ◦         SAP Best Practices

Architecture Reviews

       •   Perform solution architecture assessments.

       •   Review custom developments and optimization opportunities.

       •   Recommend approaches for code modernization and S/4HANA readiness.

       •   Ensure alignment with SAP best practices and future roadmap.

Required Skills

Mandatory

       •   10+ years SAP experience.

       •   5+ years focused on SAP Fiori and Analytics.

       •   Deep expertise in:

       ◦         SAP Fiori Analytical Applications

       ◦         ABAP CDS Views

       ◦         SAP Embedded Analytics

       ◦         OData Services

       ◦         SAP Gateway

       ◦         SAP S/4HANA Data Models

       •   Strong Power BI integration experience with SAP.

       •   Experience exposing CDS Views for external analytics consumption.

       •   Hands-on ABAP development background.

       •   Strong architecture and consulting skills.

Preferred

       •   SAP Analytics Cloud experience.

       •   RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming Model).

       •   Fiori Elements.

       •   SAP BTP Integration and Extension Suite.

       •   HANA Native Modeling.

       •   Experience in manufacturing environments.
