About the Role
We are looking for a motivated Flutter Developer Intern who is interested in building cross-platform mobile applications for Android and iOS.
In this role, you will work closely with our core development team to develop, test, and improve mobile applications. You will gain hands-on experience working on real-world projects, implementing UI designs, integrating APIs, and building functional mobile experiences.
As an early-stage startup, we value initiative and ownership. You will have the opportunity to contribute to different stages of mobile app development, take responsibility for assigned features, and help turn product ideas into working applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using Flutter and Dart.
- Convert UI/UX designs and Figma prototypes into responsive, functional mobile interfaces.
- Implement application features while maintaining clean, readable, and reusable code.
- Integrate REST APIs and work with backend services.
- Collaborate with the development and design teams to implement product requirements.
- Work with application state management solutions such as Provider, Riverpod, or Bloc.
- Test applications, identify bugs, and troubleshoot technical issues.
- Ensure applications work consistently across different screen sizes and Android devices.
- Assist with database integration, authentication, and other application functionalities.
- Participate in code reviews and follow development best practices.
- Help prepare applications for testing, deployment, and future updates.
- Take ownership of assigned features and communicate progress, challenges, and blockers proactively.
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of Flutter and Dart.
- Understanding of mobile application development fundamentals.
- Familiarity with widgets, layouts, navigation, and responsive UI development.
- Basic understanding of REST APIs and JSON.
- Familiarity with Git and version control.
- Understanding of object-oriented programming concepts.
- Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn, experiment, and work collaboratively.
Good to Have
- Experience building personal, academic, or freelance Flutter projects.
- Familiarity with Firebase or Supabase.
- Basic knowledge of authentication and API integration.
- Familiarity with state management libraries such as Provider, Riverpod, or Bloc.
- Understanding of mobile app deployment and Play Store publishing.
- A GitHub profile or portfolio showcasing previous development work.
