Key Responsibilities:

System Installation and Configuration: · Install and configure Linux servers and systems based on organizational requirements. · Set up and maintain user accounts and permissions. · Configure system hardware, network, and storage. . Ansible tower, YML knowledge & hands-on experience. . Knowledge and experience in Docker, Kubernetes setup. . Red hat satellite subscription manager addition on client. . Managing Linux VMs on VMware vSphere environment. . VA point closer related to OS. . Handling audit, compliance & regulatory requirement.
System Maintenance and Monitoring: · Perform routine system updates, patches, and security hardening. · Monitor system performance, availability, and resource utilization. · Troubleshoot and resolve system and network issues promptly.
Security Management: · Implement and maintain security measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and access controls. · Ensure compliance with security policies and standards. · Perform regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.
Backup and Recovery: · Develop and maintain backup and disaster recovery strategies. · Test and validate backup procedures to ensure data integrity. · Execute data recovery procedures in the event of system failures.
Scripting and Automation: · Write and maintain shell scripts or automation scripts to streamline system tasks. · Automate repetitive tasks to improve efficiency and reduce human error.
Documentation and Reporting: · Create and update system documentation, including configuration guides and standard operating procedures. · Generate regular reports on system performance, security, and compliance.
