Role Purpose

We are looking for a passionate and driven Software Engineer to join our Technology team. The ideal candidate will contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of scalable web applications across the full stack. This role offers an opportunity to work with modern technologies, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and build high-quality software solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain web applications across the full technology stack.
• Build responsive, intuitive, and user-friendly interfaces using React.js or Angular.
• Design and develop backend services and RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
• Write clean, scalable, maintainable, and efficient code following coding standards and best practices.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, debugging, and application performance optimization.
• Collaborate with product managers, QA engineers, architects, and fellow developers to deliver business solutions.
• Contribute to application design discussions and technical improvements.
• Learn, evaluate, and adopt modern technologies, frameworks, and development practices.

Technical Skills

Programming Languages

• Strong understanding of Java (8+).
• Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.
• Good understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms.
• Familiarity with Java Collections Framework and Exception Handling.

Front-End Technologies

• Good knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
• Working knowledge of React.js or Angular.
• Understanding of responsive web design principles.
• Familiarity with REST API integration.

Back-End Technologies

• Knowledge of Spring Boot framework.
• Understanding of RESTful API development.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and concepts.
• Exposure to build tools such as Maven or Gradle.

Database Management

• Knowledge of MySQL and/or PostgreSQL.
• Understanding of database design, SQL queries, joins, indexing, and performance optimization basics.
• Exposure to NoSQL databases is an added advantage.

Cloud & DevOps Fundamentals

• Basic understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Familiarity with Docker and containerization concepts.
• Understanding of CI/CD principles and deployment pipelines.
• Knowledge of Git and version control practices.

Tools & Platforms

• Git / GitHub
• IntelliJ IDEA, VS Code, or Eclipse
• Postman
• Jira (preferred)

Preferred Qualifications

• Internship or project experience in Full Stack Development.
• Hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, React.js, or Angular through academic or personal projects.
• GitHub profile showcasing technical projects and coding contributions.
• Participation in coding competitions, hackathons, open-source projects, or technical communities.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of Kafka, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Exposure to AI-powered developer tools such as GitHub Copilot.
• Cloud certifications such as AWS Cloud Practitioner or Azure Fundamentals.
