About the Role:
We are looking for a motivated Junior Software Engineer (.NET) to contribute to the development and maintenance of enterprise applications. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with .NET, C#, and ASP.NET Web API, along with a basic understanding of Azure services, databases, and modern software development practices.
The candidate will work closely with Senior and Staff Engineers to develop backend services, build system integrations, and deliver reliable, maintainable software solutions. This role also offers opportunities to learn AI-assisted development techniques and explore Generative AI applications.
Key Responsibilities:
● Develop and maintain backend services and REST APIs using .NET, C#, and ASP.NET Web API.
● Contribute to enterprise applications, including ERP, e-commerce, product information management, and workflow automation systems.
● Follow established coding standards, clean code principles, and software development best practices.
● Write basic automated tests and maintain technical documentation.
● Assist in developing and maintaining reliable, scalable, and maintainable software components.
● Work with Azure services such as Azure App Services, identity management, and Azure DevOps pipelines.
● Work with databases such as MongoDB, Cosmos DB, and PostgreSQL.
● Assist in integrating applications and platforms using modern integration patterns.
● Learn and contribute to continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) practices.
● Assist in implementing event-driven integrations across enterprise platforms.
● Learn and adopt AI-assisted coding tools to improve development productivity.
● Explore Generative AI use cases, including Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), vector search, and knowledge graphs, under the guidance of senior engineers.
● Participate in continuous improvement of development workflows and engineering practices.
● Collaborate with Senior Engineers, Staff Engineers, architects, product owners, and domain experts.
● Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and design reviews.
● Seek guidance, share learnings, and continuously improve technical skills.
● Work effectively with cross-functional teams in a multinational environment.
Mandatory Skills
● Experience: 3–4 years in backend development or software engineering.
● Programming Languages: Foundational knowledge of .NET and C#.
● API Development: Familiarity with ASP.NET Web API and REST APIs.
● Azure: Basic understanding of Azure App Services, identity concepts, and Azure DevOps pipelines.
● Databases: Familiarity with MongoDB, Cosmos DB, or PostgreSQL.
● Software Architecture: Interest in event-driven architecture and modern integration patterns.
● AI-Assisted Development: Willingness to use AI coding tools and develop AI-augmented software engineering skills.
● Soft Skills: Good communication, collaboration, problem-solving, and willingness to learn.
● Ability to work in agile, fast-paced, and international team environments.
Good-to-Have Skills
● Exposure to the product development lifecycle.
● Experience working in Agile environments using Scrum or Kanban.
● Basic functional analysis knowledge, including use cases and UML.
● Awareness of Generative AI, RAG, vector databases, embeddings, and knowledge graphs.
● Exposure to Node.js, Python, or TypeScript.
● Familiarity with enterprise integrations, ERP systems, e-commerce platforms, or workflow automation.
