We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer with strong expertise in ETL processes, cloud data platforms, and modern data engineering tools. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform, Snowflake, and Python, along with exposure to emerging technologies like Generative AI and Machine Learning.

Key Responsibilities

· Write efficient, reusable, and scalable code in Python on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

· Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines for data ingestion, transformation, and loading.

· Build and optimize data workflows using Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services to enhance data-driven insights.

· Develop and manage data models and data warehousing solutions in Snowflake and BigQuery.

· Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders.

· Ensure data quality, governance, and security best practices are followed.

· Integrate and deploy containerized applications using Docker.

· Explore and implement advanced analytics solutions utilizing machine learning, NLP, and Generative AI.

Required Skills (Primary)

· Proficiency in Python for data engineering and automation.

· Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) (e.g., BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Dataflow).

· Hands-on expertise in Snowflake data warehousing.

· Solid understanding of ETL/ELT concepts and data pipeline design.

· Experience with Terraform for infrastructure provisioning.

Preferred Skills (Secondary)

· Familiarity with Generative AI concepts and tools.

· Experience in Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Machine Learning workflows.

· Knowledge of containerization using Docker.

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.

· 6+/10+ years of experience in data engineering or cloud-based data development (customize as needed).
