Job Title: Flex QA Tester (Manual)
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Flex QA Tester with a strong background in manual testing to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and performance of our software products through comprehensive testing strategies. You will collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for various software applications.
Perform manual testing of web applications, APIs, and backend services to identify bugs and issues.
Utilize Azure DevOps to track testing progress and manage defects effectively.
Conduct regression testing, functional testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
Collaborate with development teams to understand technical specifications and provide feedback on testability.
Utilize SQL for database testing and validation of data integrity.
Employ API testing tools to validate the functionality of services and data exchange.
Utilize Azure Service Bus Explorer for testing message queues and service interactions.
Document and report test results, ensuring clear communication with all stakeholders.
Participate in Agile ceremonies, contributing to sprint planning and retrospectives.
Required Skills
3-6 years of experience in manual testing within a software development environment.
Proficiency in Azure DevOps for test management and defect tracking.
Strong understanding of test planning and execution methodologies.
Experience in SQL for querying databases and validating data.
Familiarity with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, SoapUI) for validating web services.
Knowledge of Azure Service Bus Explorer and message queuing concepts.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with automated testing frameworks and tools is a plus.
Understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile teams.
Knowledge of performance testing and tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner) is a bonus.
Certifications in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) are advantageous.
Experience in a cloud-based environment and familiarity with Azure services.
