Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Python Data Engineer with strong expertise in building scalable, production-grade data engineering solutions. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Python, Apache Airflow, SQL, Snowflake, and ETL pipelines, along with a strong understanding of workflow orchestration, performance optimization, and coding best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Python.

• Build and manage Apache Airflow DAGs for workflow orchestration and scheduling.

• Develop and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines for large-scale data processing.

• Write efficient and optimized SQL queries for data transformation and analysis.

• Work with Snowflake to design, develop, and optimize data solutions.

• Ensure high-quality code through coding standards, testing, logging, monitoring, and performance optimization.

• Analyze business requirements and translate ETL workflows into robust Python-based implementations.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable and scalable data solutions.

• Leverage AI-assisted coding tools such as Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or similar to improve development productivity.

Required Skills

• Expert-level proficiency in Python for production-grade, scalable applications.

• Strong experience with Apache Airflow (DAG design, scheduling, orchestration patterns).

• Advanced SQL development and query optimization.

• Hands-on experience with Snowflake.

• Strong understanding of ETL/ELT concepts and data engineering best practices.

• Experience with logging, monitoring, debugging, and performance tuning.

• Familiarity with Git and CI/CD practices.

• Experience using AI-assisted coding tools such as Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or similar.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and modern data architectures.

• Exposure to DevOps practices and automation.

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
