Position Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to lead and coordinate our engineering architecture review process while driving consistent, high-quality program management reporting across engineering teams. The ideal candidate will bring a strong blend of technical fluency, program leadership, and stakeholder management to ensure alignment, transparency, and delivery excellence across complex engineering initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Architecture Review Process Management

Own and continuously improve the end-to-end engineering architecture review process.
Coordinate cross-functional reviews with engineering, product, security, and operations stakeholders.
Ensure architectural decisions are documented, tracked, and aligned with organizational standards and strategy.
Facilitate architecture review boards (ARBs), including agenda setting, materials preparation, and follow-ups.
Identify risks, dependencies, and gaps in proposed architectures and escalate appropriately.

Program Management & Reporting

Develop and maintain standardized program reporting frameworks for engineering teams.
Provide clear, concise, and actionable reporting on project status, risks, milestones, and KPIs.
Consolidate updates across multiple projects into executive-level summaries.
Drive accountability for timely and accurate reporting across teams.
Implement tools and dashboards to improve visibility and decision-making.

Cross-Functional Coordination

Partner with engineering leaders, product managers, and other stakeholders to align priorities and timelines.
Facilitate communication across distributed teams and ensure transparency of program progress.
Support planning cycles, including roadmap development, quarterly planning, and resource allocation.

Process Improvement & Governance

Establish and enforce PMO standards, methodologies, and best practices.
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, scalability, and quality of project delivery.
Lead retrospectives and continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensure compliance with internal governance and external regulatory requirements where applicable.

Stakeholder Management

Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on program health and risks.
Manage expectations and proactively communicate changes in scope, schedule, or priorities.
Build strong relationships across technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

Required

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
7+ years of project or program management experience, preferably within engineering or technology organizations.
Proven experience managing complex, cross-functional programs.
Strong understanding of software development and/or systems architecture concepts.
Experience facilitating architecture or design review processes.
Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred

PMP, PgMP, or equivalent certification.
Experience working within a PMO structure.
Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, and hybrid delivery methodologies.
Experience with program reporting tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet, or similar).
