Job Overview

EduConnectX Inc. is looking for a skilled and reliable Web Developer to work on a project basis for multiple school websites, educational institutions, and other client websites, including Royale Concorde International School (RCIS).

The developer will be engaged as and when projects arise and will collaborate with the EduConnectX team to develop new websites, enhance existing websites, create landing pages, resolve technical issues, and implement website improvements according to individual client requirements.

This is a project-based engagement and does not involve a fixed, full-time employment arrangement.

Key Responsibilities1. Website Development and Management

• Develop new websites and manage existing websites for schools, colleges, and other clients.
• Build and customize WordPress websites using Elementor and other relevant technologies.
• Create and update website pages, banners, forms, content layouts, and functionalities.
• Develop responsive websites compatible with desktops, tablets, and mobile devices.
• Customize themes, plugins, and website components according to project requirements.

2. Landing Pages and Lead Generation

• Design and develop landing pages for admission campaigns and digital marketing initiatives.
• Integrate enquiry forms, callback requests, WhatsApp buttons, and lead capture systems.
• Implement CRM integrations and automated lead notifications wherever required.
• Coordinate with the digital marketing team to improve website conversions.

3. Website Maintenance and Technical Support

• Troubleshoot website errors, plugin conflicts, broken links, and server-related issues.
• Manage website migration, hosting configuration, SSL certificates, DNS settings, and backups.
• Resolve website security issues, malware infections, spam-related problems, and performance bottlenecks.
• Perform website speed optimization and mobile usability improvements.
• Update WordPress core, themes, and plugins safely, following appropriate backup procedures.

4. SEO and Analytics Integration

• Implement technical SEO improvements and on-page optimization.
• Configure Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, and Google Search Console.
• Set up conversion tracking for Google Ads and Meta Ads campaigns.
• Implement metadata, XML sitemaps, schema markup, and indexing improvements as required.

5. Client Coordination and Project Delivery

• Understand project requirements and provide technical recommendations.
• Submit project quotations, timelines, and deliverable estimates before commencement.
• Coordinate with the EduConnectX team for approvals, revisions, testing, and deployment.
• Deliver projects within agreed timelines and communicate progress regularly.
• Provide documentation, source code, credentials, and handover materials upon completion.

Required Technical Skills

• WordPress and Elementor.
• HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL.
• Responsive website development.
• Website hosting, domain management, DNS, and SSL configuration.
• Website migration, backups, restoration, and troubleshooting.
• Website speed optimization and technical SEO.
• Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, and Google Search Console.
• Familiarity with CRM systems, APIs, and third-party integrations.

Preferred Qualifications

• 2–5 years of relevant web development experience.
• Experience working with school, college, or educational institution websites.
• Experience managing multiple websites for different clients.
• Knowledge of conversion-focused landing pages and digital marketing requirements.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects with different deadlines.
• A portfolio demonstrating previously developed or maintained websites.

Engagement and Commercial Terms

• The developer will be engaged on a project basis under EduConnectX Inc.
• Projects will be assigned as and when required, depending on client requirements.
• There is no guarantee of a fixed number of projects or a monthly workload.
• Project fees, scope, deliverables, deadlines, and payment milestones will be agreed upon before each project begins.
• Additional revisions or work beyond the approved scope will require prior approval and may attract additional charges.
• Confidentiality of client information, website credentials, business data, and student or parent information must be maintained.
• All agreed deliverables, source code, documentation, and administrative access must be handed over as specified in the project agreement.
• Bug-fixing and post-delivery support obligations will be defined separately for each project.
