• Experience debugging and troubleshooting applications in production or production-like environments.
• Experience using Git and working with established source-control and code-review practices.
• Experience writing and maintaining unit tests.
• Ability to understand, maintain, and incrementally improve an existing codebase rather than relying exclusively on greenfield development.

Preferred Qualifications Experience with one or more of the following would be beneficial:

• Entity Framework 6
• RabbitMQ
• Couchbase
• WCF
• WebSockets
• JWT-based authentication
• Windows Forms
• COM interoperability
• 32-bit Windows application deployments

• Security remediation and dependency upgrades for legacy .NET Framework applications
• Modern .NET and ASP.NET Core

What Success Looks Like As a Software Engineer II, you will be expected to become productive within an established platform, independently deliver appropriately scoped changes, and troubleshoot issues across multiple application components.

You should be comfortable balancing new development with maintenance and production support. You will work with more senior engineers when addressing larger architectural or cross-component changes while taking ownership of features, defects, tests, and technical improvements within your area.

This role is particularly well suited to an engineer who enjoys understanding how an existing system works, solving practical software problems, and improving a platform incrementally without assuming that every problem requires a complete rewrite.
