Software Engineer
We are looking for a capable and ambitious Software Engineer to join us in building and scaling TollGate, an AI infrastructure and governance platform that helps companies monitor, control and manage usage across LLM providers such as OpenAI, Anthropic and Amazon Bedrock.
This is a high-ownership role across backend engineering, cloud infrastructure, databases, LLM integrations and the product dashboard. You will be expected to understand product requirements, choose the right technical approach, build, test, deploy and maintain reliable production solutions.

What You'll Work On
- Python and FastAPI backend services
- PostgreSQL and Redis
- API gateways, authentication and access controls
- Usage metering, rate limits and budget enforcement
- OpenAI, Anthropic, Amazon Bedrock and LiteLLM integrations
- Docker and CI/CD pipelines
- AWS infrastructure including ECS, RDS, IAM, ALB and CloudWatch
- React / TypeScript dashboard
- Production debugging, monitoring, testing, security and reliability
What We're Looking For
- 2–4 years of software engineering experience
- Strong Python and backend development fundamentals
- Experience building APIs and production applications
- Good understanding of SQL and relational databases
- Experience with PostgreSQL or similar databases
- Familiarity with Redis, Docker and AWS
- Ability to understand and work with an existing codebase
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working across backend and frontend when required
- Ability to independently research and solve technical problems
- Strong ownership mindset and willingness to learn quickly
Preferred Experience
FastAPI, React, TypeScript, AWS ECS, Bedrock, OpenAI APIs, Anthropic APIs, LiteLLM, distributed systems or AI infrastructure.
What Makes This Role Different
This is not a narrow ticket-based development role. You will gradually become one of the primary technical owners of TollGate and work directly with the founders on new features, enterprise requirements and platform improvements.
We are looking for someone who can think beyond simply writing code — someone who can understand the problem, evaluate trade-offs, identify edge cases and build production-ready solutions.
AI development tools such as ChatGPT, Claude and Codex may be used to improve productivity, but you must be capable of understanding, validating and taking ownership of the code you ship.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
