Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced ETL Developer with strong hands-on expertise in Informatica, Greenplum, and PostgreSQL. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining ETL workflows, managing data integration processes, and optimizing database performance. Experience with AWS cloud services and modern data engineering tools will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL workflows using Informatica.

• Develop, optimize, and maintain data pipelines and data integration processes.

• Work with Greenplum and PostgreSQL databases for data extraction, transformation, loading, and analysis.

• Write and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database scripts.

• Perform data validation, reconciliation, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.

• Collaborate with business analysts, data engineers, and other technical teams to understand data requirements.

• Ensure data quality, consistency, accuracy, and reliability across data pipelines.

• Troubleshoot ETL failures and resolve data processing issues within agreed timelines.

• Support data migration, integration, and database optimization activities.

Mandatory Skills

• Informatica: Hands-on experience in ETL development, mappings, workflows, and data integration.

• Greenplum: Experience in database development, SQL queries, and performance optimization.

• PostgreSQL: Strong knowledge of SQL, query optimization, and database concepts.

• ETL Development: Experience in designing, developing, testing, and maintaining data pipelines.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to AWS cloud services, particularly:

  • Amazon S3

  • AWS Glue

• Experience with Snowflake for cloud data warehousing.

• Familiarity with Apache Airflow for workflow orchestration and scheduling.

• Understanding of cloud-based data integration and modern data engineering practices.

Candidate Profile

• 4–6+ years of relevant experience in ETL development and database technologies.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Good communication and collaboration skills.

• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and work effectively in a team environment.
