Position
OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Senior SharePoint Developer to design, develop, customize, and enhance modern SharePoint solutions, with a particular focus on customer-facing sites, reusable site templates, and custom user experiences.The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on SharePoint development skills and be comfortable working directly with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into scalable, maintainable solutions. The role requires expertise in SharePoint customization, custom development frameworks, JSON-based configuration, and modern web development.This role can be performed onshore or offshore, depending on the availability of the right candidate.Key Responsibilities· Design, develop, and maintain modern SharePoint-based solutions and applications.· Customize SharePoint sites to improve functionality, usability, user experience, and visual appeal.· Develop and enhance customer-facing SharePoint site templates that can be reused and adapted across different business needs.· Create custom SharePoint components, features, and solutions beyond out-of-the-box capabilities.· Work with SharePoint Framework (SPFx) and other SharePoint customization frameworks to develop modern and scalable solutions.· Use JSON for SharePoint formatting, configuration, list views, forms, and other customization requirements.· Develop custom web parts, extensions, and user interface components.· Collaborate with business stakeholders and end users to gather requirements and recommend appropriate SharePoint solutions.· Translate business and user experience requirements into technical designs and working solutions.· Improve existing SharePoint implementations by identifying opportunities for customization, automation, and modernization.· Ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, secure, and aligned with SharePoint development best practices.· Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to SharePoint sites, customizations, and integrations.· Participate in technical discussions with business and client stakeholders and provide recommendations on solution design.· Support deployment, testing, documentation, and ongoing enhancement of SharePoint solutions.Required Skills and Experience· Strong hands-on experience as a SharePoint Developer, preferably in a senior-level role.· Strong experience with SharePoint Online and modern SharePoint development.· Experience with SharePoint Framework (SPFx) and custom SharePoint development.· Strong knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.· Experience building and customizing SharePoint web parts, extensions, and reusable components.· Strong understanding of JSON, particularly for SharePoint formatting and configuration.· Experience creating and customizing SharePoint site templates and customer-facing portals.· Ability to go beyond standard SharePoint functionality and develop custom solutions where required.· Experience integrating SharePoint with other applications, services, or APIs is desirable.· Good understanding of user experience and responsive web design principles.· Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.Preferred Qualifications· Experience with Microsoft 365 ecosystem and related technologies.· Familiarity with Power Platform, including Power Automate and Power Apps.· Experience with Microsoft Graph APIs and SharePoint REST APIs.· Knowledge of Azure services and modern cloud-based application development.· Experience working with external or customer-facing portals and collaboration platforms.Key Competencies· Strong coding and hands-on development capability.· Ability to understand business requirements and recommend practical technical solutions.· Experience working directly with clients and business stakeholders.· Strong communication and collaboration skills.· Ability to work independently while also collaborating with distributed teams.· Focus on creating polished, user-friendly, and scalable solutions.Work Location-Remote
