Manual VMC Programmer - TN, India

We are looking for an experienced Manual VMC Programmer with strong hands-on expertise in manual CNC programming, milling operations, and machining processes. The candidate will be responsible for preparing, editing, optimizing, and executing VMC programs at the machine control panel to ensure quality production, accuracy, and achievement of production targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, edit, and optimize manual VMC programs directly at the machine control panel.
• Develop and execute programs using G-codes and M-codes.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, machining specifications, and GD&T requirements.
• Select appropriate cutting tools, set tool offsets, and perform program prove-out.
• Support VMC operators during machine setup, tool setting, and production runs.
• Conduct first-piece inspection and obtain quality approval before batch production.
• Monitor machining parameters and ensure dimensional accuracy and product quality.
• Achieve production targets while minimizing cycle time, tool wear, and rejection rates.
• Troubleshoot programming, tooling, and machining-related issues independently.
• Follow quality procedures, workplace safety standards, and production requirements.

Required Skills and Technical Knowledge

• Strong practical experience in manual VMC programming.
• Knowledge of G-code and M-code programming.
• Experience with HARCO, WINMAX, or FANUC control systems preferred.
• Good knowledge of milling operations, cutting tools, and cutting parameters.
• Understanding of tool selection, tool offsets, work offsets, and machining sequences.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Knowledge of GD&T and precision measuring instruments.
• Ability to independently manage machining jobs and resolve technical issues.

Educational Qualification

• Diploma or B.E. in Mechanical Engineering preferred.
• Experience 5 – 12 Years
• ITI candidates with relevant hands-on manual VMC programming experience may also be considered.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month

• Day Shift (Preferred)
• Overnight Shift (Preferred)
