Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain mid-tier services and REST APIs using Java, Spring MVC, Spring Boot, and Hibernate.
- Work on database-centric applications with expertise in SQL, particularly with Postgres and Oracle.
- Apply Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), Design Patterns, and SOLID principles in your development work.
- Utilize build tools like Ant and Maven for efficient project management.
- Implement security concepts and tools such as Snyk and Blackduck.
- Engage with Enterprise Security applications like IBM Virtual Identity Access (IVIA)/WebSeal and Siteminder.
- Participate in fast-paced Agile software development methodologies.
- Conduct unit, regression, and integration testing to ensure software quality.
- Debug and solve logical problems effectively, and adapt to new technologies quickly.
- Work with large legacy code bases and utilize AI development tools like GitHub Copilot, Cursor, and Claude code.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of strong development experience.
- Excellent programming skills in Java, Spring MVC, Spring Boot, and Hibernate.
- Proficient in SQL and experience with Postgres and Oracle databases.
- Solid understanding of OOP, Design Patterns, and SOLID principles.
- Experience with unit, regression, and integration testing in large software portfolios.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with Groovy is a plus.
- Knowledge of security concepts and tools.
- Experience in working with large legacy code bases.
