Job Description 

We are seeking an experienced Senior Automation Test Engineer to lead and expand our automation testing efforts across core mortgage technology platforms. This is a hands-on role focused on designing and building test automation frameworks using Python, Playwright, and Pytest, while working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the quality and compliance of critical systems such as Loan Origination Systems (LOS), document processing tools, underwriting engines, and customer portals. You will play a key role in delivering stable, accurate, and scalable automation that supports our business in delivering compliant and high-quality mortgage solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

*Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end test automation frameworks using Playwright (Python) and Pytest

* Automate complex workflows in the mortgage lifecycle, including loan applications, underwriting, disclosures, and servicing processes

*Validate API integrations between mortgage systems (e.g., LOS, CRM, credit bureaus, document engines)

  * Ensure comprehensive test coverage for both frontend (UI) and backend (API, database) components

  * Collaborate with developers, QA analysts, business analysts, and product managers to understand mortgage-specific use cases and edge conditions

  *Work closely with DevOps teams to integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps

Perform test data management and backend validation using SQL/XML as needed Provide technical leadership within the QA team and help establish best practices for test automation in a regulatory-compliant environment

  *Participate in sprint planning, grooming sessions, and demos to ensure testing is aligned with Agile delivery cycles.
