LetzBizz is hiring an experienced Senior AQA SDET in Chennai for a technically demanding Quality Engineering role. We are seeking a hands-on automation specialist with deep expertise in Java programming, automation framework architecture, API testing, CI/CD integration and enterprise test automation.

The successful candidate will design scalable frameworks, improve automation coverage, integrate testing into delivery pipelines and drive quality engineering practices across multiple products and applications.

Experience with Generative AI, Agentic AI workflows and AI-assisted testing is highly preferred.

Key responsibilities

• Design and architect scalable automation frameworks from scratch.

• Develop automation solutions for web applications, APIs, microservices and cloud-based applications.

• Build reusable automation components, libraries and reporting frameworks.

• Lead automation strategy and improve test coverage across projects.

• Integrate automated test suites into Jenkins and CI/CD pipelines.

• Implement automated quality gates and support reliable release processes.

• Perform code reviews and promote coding standards and design best practices.

• Mentor QA engineers and SDETs in automation architecture and programming.

• Validate APIs, backend data and database operations.

• Evaluate AI-assisted testing tools and automation accelerators.

• Collaborate with development, DevOps, product and business teams.

• Drive continuous improvement in enterprise Quality Engineering.

Java programming

Leadership and communication

Candidates must be able to mentor engineers, review automation code, influence testing practices, communicate effectively with stakeholders and contribute to technical assessments.

Candidates must demonstrate strong practical Java coding and automation architecture skills. Candidates with primarily manual QA experience or limited hands-on programming experience are unlikely to fit this requirement.
