Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Rocket UniVerse / .NET Developer with strong expertise in PICK/MultiValue databases, SQL Server, C#, and VB.NET.
The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in developing, maintaining, and supporting enterprise applications, particularly in ERP, inventory management, order management, and purchasing systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance application logic within the Rocket UniVerse environment.
- Manage database-layer development across order management, inventory, purchasing, and reporting modules.
- Troubleshoot and resolve critical application and database issues.
- Work closely with .NET developers to resolve end-to-end application issues.
- Maintain and optimize database structures, business logic, and integrations.
- Document data structures, business rules, and integration processes.
- Support legacy application maintenance and modernization initiatives.
Mandatory Skills
- 5+ years of software development experience.
- Hands-on experience with Rocket UniVerse, UniData, jBASE, D3, or other PICK/MultiValue database environments.
- Knowledge of PICK/MultiValue query languages such as RetrieVe or AQL.
- Experience with MultiValue data modeling, file structures, dictionaries, and attribute definitions.
- Strong working knowledge of SQL Server and database integration.
- Experience with ERP, inventory, purchasing, or order management systems.
- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
- Direct experience with Rocket UniVerse.
- C# / VB.NET development experience.
- Experience with Windows desktop or Win32 applications.
- Knowledge of wholesale distribution systems.
- Experience migrating PICK/MultiValue databases to relational or modern data platforms.
Required Candidate Profile
We are seeking a developer with strong database and application development experience who can independently manage Rocket UniVerse or equivalent MultiValue database environments.
Candidates should have experience supporting business-critical enterprise applications and collaborating with .NET development teams.
