Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Automation Test Engineer to join our TCOE team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automation testing, with a focus on Selenium, API testing, and performance testing. This role requires excellent client-facing skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium.

Perform Automated API testing to ensure the reliability and performance of web services.

Conduct performance testing to identify bottlenecks and optimize system performance.

Set up automation frameworks from scratch.

Collaborate with development and QA teams to understand requirements and design comprehensive test plans.

Communicate effectively with clients to gather requirements, provide updates, and address concerns.

Assist team members and provide guidance on best practices in automation testing.

Provide technical training to upskill the existing testing team.

Mandatory Skills:

Extensive experience with Selenium for web automation using Java/Python.

Proficient in Automation API testing using tools like ReadyAPI, Postman, Playwright.

Strong knowledge of performance testing tools and methodologies using LoadRunner/JMeter.

Debugging Skills to identify root cause in performance & automation.

Ability to set up automation frameworks from scratch.

Experience with CI/CD testing.

Proficiency with Jenkins.

Knowledge of integrating automation code/tools to CI/CD pipeline using Jenkins, Python or Java.

Strong knowledge of Agile test methodology.

Familiarity with test management tools like JIRA, DevOps etc.

Excellent client-facing and communication skills.

Nice to Have:

Knowledge of Automation tools like Cypress, Test Robot Automation, TestComplete, ReadyAPI, Mendix.

Experience with database testing preferably SQL.

Knowledge of data migration testing.

Understanding of ETL processes and testing.

GenAI, LLM Model testing experience.

Test Data creation exposure using code Harbour, synthetic data generator or any other tool.

Strategize and estimate new automation requirements/projects.

Scheduling and Parallel execution Setup.

Preferred domain experience in Insurance & healthcare.

Certification in Automation/Performance testing like CSTAS and CPTP.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree/MCA in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Proven track record of delivering high-quality automation testing solutions.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Ability to multitask and flexibility with timing.
