Responsibilities
Execute cloud migration projects using Azure Migrate and related tools, covering rehosting, replatforming and refactoring strategies
Assess on premises infrastructure for cloud readiness and develop tailored migration roadmaps
Deploy and manage Azure networking components including VNets, NSGs, Application Gateways and enterprise scale landing zones
Migrate virtual machines, databases and file shares with minimal downtime, resolving issues during replication, configuration and post migration phases
Optimize workloads for cost efficiency, scalability and performance using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics and auto scaling
Create and maintain migration playbooks, runbooks and progress reporting for stakeholders
Stay current with Azure platform updates and recommend tools or process improvements
Provide post migration technical support and ensure environments remain secure, resilient and compliant with best practices
Communicate technical concepts clearly to stakeholders at all levels
Required Skills

Ability to prioritize tasks effectively with a detail oriented mindset
Clear communication with technical and non technical stakeholders
Required Experience
Minimum 7 years of experience in system engineering or cloud infrastructure roles
Proven hands on experience with Microsoft Azure, especially in cloud migration projects
Strong expertise in on premises technologies: VMware vCenter, Hyper V, Windows and Linux administration, Active Directory (DNS, DHCP, GPO, DC)
Solid experience with Azure services: VMs, Update Manager, SQL Servers, NSGs, VNets, Application Gateways, ExpressRoute, VPNs, Storage Accounts, Azure Monitor
Familiarity with VMware HCX and Azure Migrate
Experience with cloud governance and security: Defender 365, Entra ID, firewall configurations
Fluent English, spoken and written; German is a plus
