Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Lead Systems Engineer with strong expertise in Kubernetes platforms (AKS & EKS), Terraform, and DevOps practices. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing highly available, scalable, and secure cloud infrastructure across Azure and AWS environments. The candidate should have hands-on experience in Kubernetes administration, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD automation, and cloud-native technologies.
Key Responsibilities
Design, deploy, and manage Kubernetes clusters using Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS).
Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated application deployments.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize Kubernetes clusters and cloud infrastructure.
Ensure high availability, scalability, security, and performance of production environments.
Collaborate with development, QA, and infrastructure teams to streamline deployment processes.
Implement DevOps best practices, automation, and configuration management.
Perform cluster upgrades, security patching, and capacity planning.
Manage cloud networking, storage, ingress controllers, and container orchestration.
Create and maintain technical documentation and operational runbooks.
Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership for cloud infrastructure initiatives.
Required Skills
Strong hands-on experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
Strong hands-on experience with Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS).
Expertise in Terraform for Infrastructure as Code.
Strong understanding of DevOps methodologies and automation.
Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
Experience with Docker and containerization technologies.
Strong knowledge of Linux administration and shell scripting.
Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or CloudWatch.
Good understanding of networking, security, IAM, and cloud architecture.
Preferred Skills
Experience with Azure and AWS cloud platforms.
Knowledge of Helm, ArgoCD, or FluxCD.
Familiarity with Ansible or other automation tools.
Experience with microservices architecture.
Relevant Azure, AWS, or Kubernetes certifications will be an added advantage.
