Job Summary/ Your Role in a Nutshell: We are hiring a Senior Consultant (Contract) with strong hands-on experience in Azure Front Door Premium (WAF), Azure Firewal, and Azure API Management (APIM). The role involves reviewing current configurations, tuning rules, analyzing traffic, and providing recommendations to strengthen security posture across edge and API layers. What you’ll do: ● Review and assess existing Azure Front Door Premium (WAF) configurations and Azure Firewal policies. ● Tune and refine managed and custom WAF rules to improve detection accuracy and reduce false positives. ● Analyze traffic patterns and logs using Sentinel/Log Analytics to identify malicious activity or gaps. ● Validate effectiveness of current controls against common attack techniques (OWASP Top 10, API abuse, WAF bypass). ● Optimize firewal policies including network rules, application rules, and threat inte ligence filtering. ● Provide recommendations for improving security posture, API security patterns, segmentation, and architecture enhancements across Front Door → APIM
