We are looking for an experienced Core .NET & API Developer/Architect with strong hands-on expertise in modern .NET, API-first development, microservices, GraphQL and Azure API Management.
The ideal candidate should have strong experience designing, developing, securing, deploying and governing enterprise-grade APIs using .NET 6+, C#, REST, GraphQL, Azure APIM and Azure DevOps.
Strong hands-on experience with .NET Core / .NET 6+ and API-first application development.
Expert-level knowledge of C# and modern .NET development practices.
Strong experience designing and developing REST APIs, including:
API versioning
Pagination
Error handling
Request/response validation
API standards and best practices
Hands-on experience building and consuming GraphQL APIs.
Strong knowledge of OpenAPI / Swagger and contract-first API development.
Experience with Microservices Architecture, including service boundary definition and Domain-Driven Design (DDD) principles.
Strong hands-on experience with Azure API Management (APIM) for API publishing, security, governance and monitoring.
Experience authoring Azure APIM policies, including:
Rate limiting/throttling
JWT validation
Request/response transformation
API security policies
Experience managing the complete API lifecycle, from design and publishing through versioning and deprecation.
Strong understanding of OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect and API Key-based authentication.
Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps Pipelines for CI/CD.
Experience implementing API-specific pipeline gates such as contract testing and schema validation.
Understanding of trunk-based development, automated PR policies and pipeline governance.
Experience implementing shift-left testing, including automated integration testing.
Strong knowledge of API observability using:
Azure Application Insights
Distributed tracing
Structured logging
Experience integrating security scanning into CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Snyk, WIZ or DAST tools.
Hands-on experience with Consumer-Driven Contract Testing.
Understanding of immutable deployment patterns and modern DevOps practices.
Design and develop scalable, secure and high-performance APIs using .NET 6+ and C#.
Define API architecture, service boundaries and microservices aligned with business domains.
Design and implement REST and GraphQL APIs for enterprise applications.
Develop and maintain OpenAPI/Swagger specifications and API contracts.
Configure and manage APIs through Azure API Management.
Develop and maintain APIM policies for authentication, authorization, throttling and request/response transformation.
Implement API security using OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWT and API keys.
Establish API standards, versioning strategies and lifecycle management processes.
Build CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps with automated quality, security and contract validation gates.
Implement automated integration and contract testing as part of shift-left engineering.
Implement observability through Application Insights, distributed tracing and structured logging.
Collaborate with development, QA, DevOps, security and architecture teams.
Troubleshoot production API issues and improve API reliability, scalability and performance.
Follow secure coding, code review, branching and deployment best practices
