Job Summary

We are looking for a Specialist System Engineer – Private Container Platform with strong expertise in Kubernetes Administration and DevOps practices. The ideal candidate will be responsible for deploying, administering, monitoring, and optimizing Kubernetes-based container platforms while ensuring high availability, scalability, security, and automation of enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities

Kubernetes Administration

• Install, configure, administer, and maintain Kubernetes clusters in production environments.

• Manage cluster upgrades, scaling, monitoring, and troubleshooting.

• Deploy, manage, and monitor containerized applications.

• Configure namespaces, RBAC, ingress controllers, persistent volumes, storage classes, and network policies.

• Perform backup, disaster recovery, and cluster health monitoring.

DevOps & Automation

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated application deployment.

• Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployment processes.

• Collaborate with development teams to improve deployment reliability and release efficiency.

• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) wherever applicable.

Container Platform Management

• Manage Docker container lifecycle and image repositories.

• Optimize resource utilization and container performance.

• Ensure platform availability, scalability, and security.

• Monitor cluster performance and resolve production issues.

Monitoring & Troubleshooting

• Monitor Kubernetes clusters using enterprise monitoring tools.

• Analyze logs, troubleshoot infrastructure and application issues.

• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive measures.

• Participate in production support and on-call activities.

Security & Compliance

• Implement Kubernetes security best practices.

• Manage secrets, certificates, RBAC, and access controls.

• Ensure compliance with organizational security standards.

• Perform vulnerability assessments and patch management.

Collaboration

• Work closely with Development, Infrastructure, Cloud, and Security teams.

• Support platform modernization and cloud-native initiatives.

• Prepare technical documentation and operational runbooks.
